The illusion of our mind is immense and deep into our identities and belief systems. How deep will surprise you.
First let me tell you about an experience:
Long time ago during meditation and sadhana on the sun, the moon and the star I had this insight:
At that time I was introduced to the concept of “Flat Earth”, and then the laugh came, that inner deep laugh and the smile on my face. I still remember the whole experience.
Here is the insight: if your belief is that the earth a ball circling around a nice sun in a huge galaxy then your experience of outer earth will be accordingly. If you believe that the earth is flat then you will get perceptions accordingly of other continents or heavens.
Then I continued to perceive earth or maybe our whole universe as bubble sailing away as a balloon in a big Nothing.
Now I do not dare to have to an opinion or belief of the shape of earth, there are implications for any belief. What if we are on a triangular squared circle hanging on a Christmas tree in Asgaard?
What does this have of implications for our search for further development, for of our further and deepening understanding of our existence, The Great Work? Does it bear any meaning, does it have any implications for me? I mean how can the discussion of the shape of the earth be important, that some hundred years ago some scholar showed and calculated that the earth was circling around the sun.
The current discussion of how science basically has been obfuscated, distorted and inverted, that has all the result of misguiding you.
If the earth is flat, then the whole set-up from Kepler and onwards is a psy-up to misguide you for some occult reason. If the heliocentric system belief is correct then there other questions that needs to be looked at in the same way. That means you must look at both beliefs as exactly what they are, beliefs. There are “scientific evidence” for both. The firm believers on both sides will hurl abuse on each other.
Be aware there are only the two possibilities, the third, fourth, fifth etc. option cannot even be considered to be possible. This is the illusion we live in right now, we are living a 3 dimensional world, and we are only able to comprehend a 2 dimensional discussion in our heads. And that is precisely where all of our perceptions take place, inside the head, inside some nerve connections. But you already should know that consciousness is not an expression of a nervous system. The nerve system, the brain is an expression of consciousness. Therefore we have to turn inside and then you will have to deal with belief-systems that are so deep rooted that this is what we are.
Look at it this way: we believe to know what we are. You can consider that you let yourself be immersed in duality, when inherently you are a “I AM” pure being expressing Pure Consciousness.
From that point of view it is of no consequence what shape our realm is.
